How we calculate

The calculator uses the fees each marketplace publishes. Where a marketplace does not publish the amount, we show an estimate and mark it so you can enter your own number.

You keep = selling price − marketplace fees − GST − product and packing cost − returns − your share of monthly costs

GST: if you are GST registered, the GST on marketplace fees comes back to you as credit, so your total GST cost is the GST inside your selling price. If you are not registered, the GST on fees is a cost to you. If the GST on fees is more than the GST on your sale (for example on 0% GST products), the extra credit may never come back, so we count it as a cost.

GST TCS (0.5%) and income-tax TDS (0.1%) are deducted from your payout, but you can claim them back. We show them separately, not as a cost.

Amazon weight: Amazon charges for the higher of the real weight and the box size weight (L × B × H ÷ 5000), with a 500 g minimum, in 500 g steps.

Tested against Amazon’s own published examples: a ₹299 T-shirt on Easy Ship, ₹798 earphones on FBA and a ₹999 necklace on Easy Ship (₹56, ₹109 and ₹100 in fees before the 7 Sep 2026 change).
